I just want to share with all of you the good news:  Mr. Robert Hartmann just made an additional contribution  to The Robert G. Hartmannn Scholarship for Excellence in Spanish.

The students in the Spanish program and all of us in the Department are grateful for his continuous  support to our program!

David Prottas made another contribution to the  Prottas Foreign Languages Creative Writing Award which will allow us to have the awards to over $1200 in 2014-15!

Ana Simón-Alegre has organized for the Cross Cultural Class with the possibility of having the Spanish Club involved and our Spanish classes.

3. 8-10 pm: Repertorio Expañol: 138 East 27th Street to see the play “El amor en tiempos de cólera.”

2.  Dr. Wadhera's paper "Food for thought:  the growing role of cuisine in literary studies"

was accepted at the 20th and 21st-century French and Francophone Studies conference, the annual gathering of scholars working in her field, to take place in the spring of 2015 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
