Prof. Villamil Acera

Please join me congratulating Prof. Rakhel Villamil-Acera in the publication of “Un recuerdo de odio: turismo e identidad en un entorno poscolonial”, a translation of the article “Souvenirs of Hatred: Identity and Tourism and the Postcolonial Destination” written by Associate Professor Marina T. Crouse from Diablo Valley Community College, CA., the project’s director is Associate Professor Alejandro Puga  (son of renowned Mexican writer Maria Luisa Puga) from DePauw University, IN. This translation is to be published by the UNAM, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. These collaborative efforts have offered Rahkel a significant opportunity for dealing with a new research topic that of identity and tourism.
