Tuesday, November 5, Adelphi's inaugural American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) workshop on "The Role of Grammar in a Proficiency-Oriented Curriculum".

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Adelphi, together with the Highs School Program, offered today, Tuesday, November 5, Adelphi's inaugural American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) workshop on "The Role of Grammar in a Proficiency-Oriented Curriculum". More than 18 educators from across Nassau county signed up and attended this important event. Dr. Steve Everett, Provost and Executive Vice President and Dr. Vincent Wang, Dean of Arts and Sciences gave the welcoming remarks. As a Chair, this is the first of the many workshops we plan to organize, I look forward to continuing more enduring collaboration between our current and future languages HS partners!
