Dr. Nicole Rudolph, French Program

Let's share the good news Dr. Nicole Rudolph will be delivering paprs at the following conferences:

First, March 3-6, she will be participating in the Society for French Historical Studies' annual meeting at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.  On Friday, March 4, shewill be presenting on a panel called "Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Trajectories: Cultural and Economic Recovery, 1945-1980".  Her paper is entitled “Appliances and Authenticity: Le fabuleux destin de Mère Denis in 1970s France”. 

Second, she has had a paper accepted for the European Association for Urban History's 13th International Conference on Urban History.  The theme of the conference, which will take place August 24-27 in Helsinki, Finland, is "Reinterpreting Cities". The panel she will be participating in is entitled "Reconsidering Mass Housing and Environmental Thought After 1945", and her paper is called, "Nature and the “Third Way” in French Mass Housing: From Public Health to Private Space, 1945-1975."
