French Program, major Sean Gaynor!!!!!!

I want to share the good news!

Let's congratulate Sean for the following achievement:

The Teaching Assistant Program in France offers young people the opportunity to work in France for 7 months, teaching English to French students of all ages. Each year, over 1,100 American citizens and permanent residents teach in public schools across all regions of metropolitan France and in the overseas departments of French such as Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion.

Sean Gaynor, a French major in the Department,  has been selected to work in the Académie d'Amiens (in the region of Picardie, France) as an English teacher's assistant at the primary school level starting this coming October. He will be assigned to work in one or more schools in the region of Picardie and will have the opportunity to experience the French public education system firsthand as well as the culture and language that comprise it. It will undoubtedly be a fulfilling professional and personal experience and a perfect complement to his studies here in Adelphi's Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures!

Congratulations Sean you make us proud
