French Program, Dr. Wadhera

I am pleased to share the following good news about Dr. Wadhera, she has had a paper accepted to the 37th annual 20th- and 21st-Century French and Francophone Studies Annual Colloquium to take place in Lincoln, Nebraska this coming spring.  The theme of the conference this year is “Parler la terre / Speaking the Earth” and her paper is called “Parler la cuisine :  Honoring the Contribution of Priscilla Parkhurst Ferguson (1940-2018).”  Ferguson was a mentor of hers from Columbia who was one of the first scholars to discuss food in a French literary context.

Congratulations Priya,

As a Chair, this is the first of the many workshops we plan to organize, I look forward to continuing more enduring collaboration between our current and future languages HS partners!
